I have no problem with oa as a Franklin fan but this bulldog guy is literally making the biggest fool out of himself. It's sad when a parent needs to talk smack on a website regarding high school sports. Bulldog was easily one of those losers in high school who got bullied in high school haha stop embarrassing your self and give it up bulldog

Isn't there a cat stuck in a tree for you to help or a guy in Provincetown you can hug?

he has nothing better to do then rash on high school teenagers lives, and there decisions, i say we let this low life be and ignore him and let him have fun playing his little game, because at the end of the day our only friend isnt our smart phone

At least at the end of the day my best friend isn't my hand. Funny how people get there panties in a bunch when the truth comes out about a program. You phonies keep looking out those rose colored glasses and run like cowards when the truth hits you in the face!

Didnt want to get involved in this but don't know why you're making up stuff about this guy razzing kids. Seems to me and
oa
3/15/2012 07:19:22 am
but why bring up the past actions of the program, mistakes were made and we know that, theres no need for other town parents to talk like this
oa
3/11/2012 07:51:49 am
why does he constantly feel the need to try and put down our program if hes not involved in it, what happened in the past is done with, move on and unless youre in the program and know how it works not through parents then come back
Bulldog
3/11/2012 11:02:20 am
Not just parents, but newspapers too. Sorry that the truth hurts sooo much!
surge
3/11/2012 01:52:15 pm
if you were talking about things happening within the program now, we would have nothing to say, but all those things are in the past and irrelevant to the team now so why are you so concerned about it when your not even from the town or a part of the program
Bulldog
3/11/2012 11:07:33 pm
Gotta repeat myself again I see. This years coach is currenty on leave for a DUI so, yes, it does deal with this years team as do the rumors about the boosters. But keep arguing for arguments sake. No answers to the problem, just a lot of useless banter again.

Doesn't matter about the coaches, parents, or players. All that matters is OA hockey went 14-5-4 and made it to the semi finals. Hope off "Bulldog"

Again with the childs play talking about wins and losses while avoiding the problem even though you won nothing. Nothing matters but winning right and you didn't even do that. People like you are whats wrong with this country always making excuses and looking the other way cuz you're afraid to do what's right. In tour world, doing the right thing is endorsing people with substance abuse problems leading your kids and making donations to the boosters when you'd be better off supporting something like your military abd donating to your church or a good cause. Now go "Hop On" OA Hockey!
oa
3/12/2012 08:56:26 am
our winning made it further than the bulldogs but thats besides the point. yes our program has had some downsides the past years and our coach made a mistake before the season but you act like these are the only ones who go through these things, it happens and so what move on, and maybe you should explain these rumors about the boosters kids because there are booster parents whos kids are on jv and ones on varsity rarely see the ice
Bulldog
3/12/2012 12:13:18 pm
Why focus on the booster rumors when nothings being done about the impression the coaches are giving your kids.( do you like how I answered like a typical OA parent and circled around the question, very slick)
oa
3/14/2012 07:57:48 am
well im not a parent but know all that happens, and i know more than a parent complaining about the boosters, those rumors arent true so just let it go
Bulldog
3/14/2012 01:29:43 pm
its not me but the dozens of parents who've had kids in the program who swear it's true that you should worry about!
oa
3/14/2012 01:55:40 pm
exactly parents HAD kids in the program, but still its a whole new style now so drop it
sh
3/14/2012 02:16:12 pm
its high school hockey, if the kid is good enough to play, then he will play his parents have nothing to do with it they will put the kids in that they need to win, which is why they have made it to the semis the past two years
Bulldog
3/14/2012 02:27:14 pm
Meant have and had parents complain. And you people sound like morons when you use the winning arguement to hide your problems even though they won 1 lousy game. So lame. No wonder the players follow the coaches examples off ice cuz their parents don't teach them anything at home!

After reading both sides of the issue and no one countering what this canton person is saying with anything substantial, I have to agree that I wouldn't want my son in a program that looks with " a blind eye" towards a serious problem and trend. It's a terrible example being set by the current and past coaches!
oa
3/15/2012 07:16:36 am
1 lousy game more than canton the past few years and this is the problem, parents like karen make these assumptions with no evidence other than parents making excuses for their kid being on jv where he belongs, the coaches have played the right kids and taught the right plays to have two successful seasons in a row
Karen
3/15/2012 09:49:39 am
How can it be an assumption when no one counter what the canton person is saying. I'm basing my opinion on the facts as there've been laid out. It has nothing to do with kids play but on the actions by coaches and others where seemingly everyone who's posted here acts like it didn't happen when it did and said coach could be back next year. All facts!
oa
3/15/2012 11:59:33 pm
why is there a need to bring up past coaches mistakes, everyone messes up but its over with and i can guarantee that the rumors about booster parents pushing for kids playing are false
Phil

Sure seems like OA Hockey supporters don't care about character as long as they win one playoff game. Good example they're teaching the kids!
sh
3/17/2012 03:43:11 am
ok, yes it is true, the OA coach who was supposed to be the coach this year got a dui and is NO LONGER ALOUD to be the coach again, he is not on leave, he's gone, and yes players from past seasons team got caught drunk and were suspended, but all I'm wondering is why thats relevant to this years team success. that is al the past and all of the people that have made those mistakes are not apart of the program anymore so it is irrelevant to what those kids did this year
Bulldog
3/17/2012 07:19:47 am
its irrelevant only if this trend stops which I hope it does. I dont hate the kids or anyone for that matter. It's the attitude of the people in the hockey program that I think is disgusting. Rather than address the problem they'd rather lie and act like nothing happened which is worse than any drinking issues in IMO! The red flags should have been raised when the program intentionally hid tge DUI from everyone. Who the hell do they think they are to not tell any parent what's going on with the person whos supposed to mentor them. This whole thing stinks, yet in Easton, everythings fine as long as they win ONE playoff game. Yup, you guys really are looking out for your kids interests all right. Jerry Springer would be proud!

For further proof that the problem is oh so real, read today's Sunday Enterprise. The Athletic Directors job at OA has 76 applicants from as far away as Michigan as these openings rarely come up other than retirement or being forced out and since hes only got 8 yrs as an AD, guess hes being forced out. Hes the one who hired the disgraced dui curent head coach who was his personal friend. The AD says he has no idea what he's doing next. But in fantasyland, he will be missed! Hopefully the person they hire cares more about character than the parents and coaches. Now I await the sugarcoating responses to the facts, AGAIN! Comments are closed.
