1. Oliver Ames | 15-7 | It was another terrific season for Leo Duggan and Oliver Ames, who took Middleboro, the eventual D2 South Sectional champion, to extra innings. The Tigers graduate two of the best players in the league in Brendan Welch and Mike Ferrara. |
2. Mansfield | 17-6 | The Hornets finished as league champs for the first time since 2007 and were competitive in the D1 South Sectional Finals. There’s a boatload of seniors that Mansfield will graduate |
3. Taunton | 14-8 | Taunton had another solid season and could be the early favorites for the 2016 season. The Tigers will have to find replacements for players liker Sam Moor, Zach MacLean and Jared Jorge but with Luke Figueira, Brendon Mazerolle and Max Bowden back, things are looking good for Taunton. |
4. Franklin | 16-8 | After a back and forth first half of the season, the Panthers were one of the hottest teams in the state the second half of the season before bowing out in the playoffs against Mansfield. Franklin will have to try and replace the 10 talented seniors they graduate this year. |
5. Milford | 11-10 | Milford continued its lengthy postseason streak and nearly upset the eventual sectional champ Middleboro in the first round. The future is certainly bright with freshman Aidan Wilde, who led the league in batting this season. |
On The Edge: Canton (11-11)
