1. Mansfield | (13-0) | The Hornets were by far the best team in the Hockomock League and proved they were arguably the best team in the state with a 28-14 win in the Division 2 Super Bowl. They had about a dozen players that stepped up and played a big role in their Super Bowl win. - RL |
2. Attleboro | (9-2) | The Bombardiers capped off an incredible turn around season with a win over North on Thanksgiving. First year head coach Mike Strachan and QB Tim Walsh led the team to the brink of a Super Bowl appearance and finished with only 2 losses (Mansfield and Xaverian). - JP |
3. Oliver Ames | (10-1) | Despite losing to Stoughton in the D3 Southwest Finals, it was clear the Tigers were a very, very talented team. This will be a season that they'll remember for the near future and use it as a bar for future teams. - RL |
4. Stoughton | (10-2) | The Black Knights inched by OA by were just edged by Plymouth South to deny them a trip to Gillette Stadium. Stoughton set a school record with 10 wins by holding off Canton late in their Thanksgiving game. - RL |
5. King Philip | (8-3) | The Warriors had a tough run of three straight losses, but all three opponents (Mansfield, Attleboro, and Natick) are among the top teams in the state. Senior linebacker Brett McEvoy leads a defense that only allowed double digit points three times this season. - JP |
