2013 HockomockSports.com Boys Basketball Awards
Player of the Year: Sam Bohmiller, Franklin
Senior Sam Bohmiller has been selected as the second ever HockomockSports.com Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Bohmiller averaged 17.9 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.5 steals per game in helping lead the Panthers to a 16-6 record. Bohmiller played a vital role in Franklin's overtime upset of Division I State Finalist Mansfield on Franklin senior night. Bohmiller is a two time Hockomock league all star and was a Boston Herald All Scholastic last season.

Oliver Ames senior St. Clair Ryan has been selected as the HockomockSports.com Defensive Player of the Year. Ryan was the defensive anchor for the Tigers this season, matching up with top offensive players from opposing teams.

Coach of the Year: Mike Vaughan, Mansfield
Mansfield head coach Mike Vaughan has been selected as 2012-2013 HockomockSports.com Coach of the Year. Vaughan led the Hornets to a 20-2 regular season, the first time Mansfield has reached 20 wins in the regular season. Mansfield went on to win 5 playoff games, including a D1 South Sectional Title and an appearance in the Division I State Finals at the DCU in Worcester.

Underclassman of the Year: Brendan Hill, Mansfield
Mansfield sophomore Brendan Hill has been chosen as the HockomockSports.com Underclassman of the Year for the 2012-2013 season. Hill led the Hornets in scoring this season as a sophomore and became one of the top players in the state. He helped guide Mansfield to a 20 win regular season, and then a D1 South Title and an appearance at the DCU Center for the D1 State Finals. Arguably Hill's best attribute is his distribution, which is key because of the defensive attention he receives.
