Hock 5 - Girls Soccer (Updated 11/26/13)
Team | Record | News |
---|---|---|
1. Franklin | (17-2-3) | The Panthers won their third sectional title in the past four years and had the lead in the state semifinal. The scary part is that Franklin may be even stronger next season with another year of experience. - JP |
2. Oliver Ames | (12-3-4) | The Tigers took home another division title behind the leadership of Kate Holleran and goals of freshman Francesca Calabraro. Only Milford (and Walpole on PKs) figured out how to beat OA this season. - JP |
3. North Attleboro | (12-4-4) | There were a lot of question marks heading into the season but the Rocketeers answered just about all of them and had a solid playoff run. Now, with Nicole Chretien and a solid crew set to return, the bar has been set high for North. - RL |
4. Canton | (11-5-3) | Head coach Kate Howarth had a very solid first season and helped the Bulldogs challenge OA for the Davenport title. Kim McNally provided the goals from midfield and Hailee Duserick helped keep things strong at the back. - JP |
5. Mansfield | (9-5-5) | Another solid season for the Hornets but the best could be yet to come as Mansfield returns seven juniors, nine sophomores, and a freshman that started every game. The Kelley-Rex looks to be loaded next year. - RL |
On The Edge: Foxboro (10-5-3)
