---|---|---|
1. King Philip | 10-1 | Led by Mark Glebus and his 21 rushing touchdowns and a defensive line spearheaded by Chris Winbourne, the Warriors won their first outright league title and advanced to a sectional final before being edged out by Marshfield. |
2. Stoughton | 9-2 | It was another good year for the Black Knights, who rode Joe Girolamo to the program’s first outright league title. They will be right back in the thick of things next year. |
3. North Attleboro | 8-3 | The Rocketeers earned a sweep of Attleboro in a dramatic overtime game on Thanksgiving, the first OT game in the history of the series, and finished with an 8-3 record. There is a bright future too with sophomore backs Nick Rajotte and Bobby Mylod. |
4. Mansfield | 6-5 | It was a very challenging season for the Hornets without a handful of starters but they persevered their way to a winning record. Sophomore Brian Lynch was a great surprise for the Hornets this season. |
5. Foxboro | 7-4 | Foxboro was just a couple of plays away from a Davenport title and picked up a playoff win. They’ll need to replace a large amount of seniors next year. |
On the edge: Milford (7-4)
