1. Canton | (15-5-4) | The Bulldogs proved down the stretch they were the best team in the league and were a bounce away from a great comeback in the D2 South Finals. The future is bright but they graduate an extremely senior class with captain Ben Lodge and one of the best trio's of defenseman in the league's recent history. - RL |
2. Franklin | (14-7-1) | Down the stretch of the season and into the playoffs, the Panthers proved that they can compete at the D1 level. Wins over Barnstable and Weymouth and a tight loss to Framingham showed that Franklin will be team to be reckoned with in D1 South going forward. - JP |
3. Oliver Ames | (12-9-2) | The banged up Tigers were just one bounce away from tying South champ Medfield in the semifinal thanks in large part to the play of Jimmy Tierney, who played his best when the games counted most. - JP |
4. Mansfield | (10-8-3) | The Hornets were just minutes away from an upset of Norwood in the opening round of the tournament, which would have been a real shock for a shorthanded squad that struggled in the final games of the regular season. - JP |
5. North Attleboro | (10-10-1) | Not many people believed in the Rocketeers after a big loss to Mansfield on January 24th. But this team made the adjustments and came together as one of the closest units in the league and rallied to make the playoffs. They also gave Medway, a top program, all they could handle in the playoffs. Even crazier is how much talent North will return. - RL |
On The Edge: Milford (12-7-2)
