Team | Record | News |
---|---|---|
1. Mansfield | 23-3 | From beginning to end, Mansfield was the best team in the Hockomock League this year. Michael Boen and Ryan Boulter are two of the best to ever wear a Mansfield jersey. |
2. Oliver Ames | 20-4 | Powered by five senior starters, Oliver Ames made it to its first sectional final since 1999. Their only four losses came to Mansfield, Taunton, Foxboro and Feehan. |
3. Franklin | 18-6 | The Panthers weren’t the most flashy team in the league but they sure knew how to win. The emergence of Markus Bohmiller is one of the biggest feel-good stories in recent memory. |
4. Taunton | 19-5 | All five losses came to either Mansfield (3) or Franklin (2). Corey Green was one of the most dynamic players in the past half dozen years in the Hockomock. |
5. Foxboro | 15-8 | Give credit to first year head coach Jon Gibbs for being able to bring this team to the D2 South Semifinals. They will surely miss Cam Seeley but Alex DuBrow and Rob Lowey are solid building blocks for next year. |
On the edge: King Philip (11-10)
