How did you get started and who introduced you to the sport?
I started playing in the fourth grade and my parents and my brothers all played so I was surronded by the sport so I decided to join.
What is a common misconception people have about girls and sports?
Most people believe that girls are weaker and are not as talented as the boys.
What's more rewarding: beating a rival or bettering yourself?
Bettering myself is more rewarding because I'm not only helping my team but I help myself along the way.
How would you describe your game?
I would describe my game as an intense and dedicated basketball player, with the heart and desire to play along with good skills and basketball knowledge
What is the ratio of hours you spend practicing compared to schoolwork and how important is it to remember you're a student-athlete?
I would say that I practice at least two hours a day additional to my high school practice and about two hours of homework. So my ratio would be 4:2. It is important for me to remember to be a student athlete because without my education I would not be able to even play high school basketball
What are your goals for after high school?
My goals after high school are to play college basketball at a competitive level and major in business.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
My favorite memory was in 7th grade when our travel team won the division 2 championship.
What are your pregame/postgame rituals?
My pregame rituals is getting ready and getting into the mind set of the game. My post game rituals is having a conversation with my family on how I played.
