What You Need To Know:
How did you get started and who introduced you to the sport?
My mother introduced the sport to me as I was entering the third grade.
What is a common misconception people have about girls and sports?
A common misconception that spectators have about girl sports is that they are "slow" games because they are low scoring games compared to boy teams. What they need to realize is that they are lower scoring games because the defensive aspect of the game is focused more of a focus.
What's more rewarding: beating a rival or bettering yourself? How would you describe your game?
Bettering yourself is always more rewarding than beating a rival. My game is concentrated around defense. Boxing out and playing tough is the way any player can make themselves feel like a major contributor to their team! I'm a very well rounded player who can also drive, draw fouls, and has a wide shooting range.
What are your goals for after high school?
After high school I hope to major in Exercise Science and minor in nutrition, and coaching so I can then become a strength and conditioning coach at the college level.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
My favorite basketball memory is when I took my first charge in AAU from the LARGEST player on the Storm team!
What are your pregame/postgame rituals?
I don't believe in pregame/postgame rituals. I just show up, and play the game.
