How did you get started and who introduced you to the sport?
My dad introduced me to the sport when I was about 3 years old when he was the head coach of the Mansfield High School varsity team.
Who is your favorite NBA player and who do you compare your game to?
My favorite NBA player is LeBron James. I compare my game most to Joe Johnson.
What's more rewarding: beating a rival or bettering yourself?
I would say that it is more rewarding to beat a rival, but it's also very important to always be trying to better yourself to help benefit yourself and your team to have the opportunity to beat that rival.
What is the ratio of hours you spend practicing compared to schoolwork and how important is it to remember you're a student-athlete?
I spend about 2 hours of practicing each day and also 2 hours of homework and studying. It is very important to remember that I am a student-athlete because grades come first. I try to maintain a solid GPA to give me the opportunity of getting into the college I would like to attend.
What are your goals for after high school?
My goals after high school is to attend a 4 year college and play either basketball or football.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
My favorite basketball memory was going to the TD Garden last year and playing against Newton-North and St. John's Prep.
What are your pregame/postgame rituals?
My pre-game rituals are always eating a sandwich from the Mansfield Deli and listening to my iPod to get pumped up for the game.
