How did you get started and who introduced you to the sport?
I got introduced to the sport of baseball from my Grandfather. He would take me to Red Sox games as a little kid. There I learned about the game and began to love it and play it as well.
What’s the best part about being on a team?
The best part about being on a team is the gratification of working toward a win together.
When all players are giving their all and picking eachother up when someone else needs it
it defines what a team is all about. Teamwork is what wins and when you have hardworking
players all doing their part and contributing their best - teamwork wins.
What is the best part of playing for Mansfield High School?
The best part about playing for Mansfield High School is being able to put the green, white and black on everyday and being proud of where I'm from. Mansfield is a huge sports town with winning teams and it is an honor to be named a Team Captain and play for a town like this.
What are your goals for after high school?
My goal for after high school is to have a stellar career playing for the University of Massachusetts Boston where I committed to play this past October under Head Coach Brendan Eygabroat. I am hoping that my baseball career after college will continue on in a professional league.
What is your favorite baseball memory?
My favorite baseball memory is hitting a walk-off home run in Cooperstown NY to clinch the Bronze Medal for my team in the tournament when I was 12 years old. I was playing for the New England Ruffnecks.
When you're not practicing, what can people find you doing?
When I'm not playing baseball you can find me hanging out with my friends or making music.
What are your pregame/postgame rituals?
If we are on a winning streak I'll keep the same arm bands on and keep the same facial hair.
