What You Need To Know:
How did you get started and who introduced you to the sport?
I started playing lacrosse in 7th grade because all of my friends were playing and I wanted to play another sport besides basketball and soccer.
What’s the best part about being on a team?
The best part about being on a team is the friendship you make with your teammates. Throughout the season you become so close to them because you are with them every day and they become your family.
What is the best part of playing for Franklin High School?
The best part of playing at Franklin High School is the amount of spirit and talent that this school has. Every team is extremely competitive and the players never give up. Our school is very supportive, whether it comes from the coaches or your teammates. Athletics are a huge part of what makes Franklin so great.
What are your goals for after high school?
After high school, I plan on attending college and continue playing lacrosse whether it is at a varsity level or on a club team.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
My favorite lacrosse memory is from freshman year when my team won the Hockomock League for the first time. It was a big deal because our program was relatively new and it was great to see our improvement and hard work pay off.
When you're not practicing, what can people find you doing?
When I’m not practicing, you can find me hanging out with my friends or at some other Franklin sporting event.
What are your pregame/postgame rituals?
Before an away game I sit at the front of the bus and blast country music and think about the game. I’m usually nervous before my games so I’m quiet and focused. If the game goes badly then I usually don’t talk a lot and I keep to myself, but if the game goes well then we all celebrate and are obnoxious.
