Team | Record | News |
---|---|---|
1. Franklin | (19-4) | The Panthers dominated the Hockomock again this season and are unbeaten in the Hock the past two seasons, but also added a dramatic sectional championship in an overtime thriller against Concord-Carlisle. - JP |
2. Foxboro | (15-5) | Behind seniors Katie Notorangelo and Genne Rogan, Foxboro took home another division title. The Warriors knocked off Bishop Stang in the tournament, before running into sectional champion Wayland in the second round. - JP |
3. King Philip | (12-7) | The Warriors have a lot to be proud of after going on a 7-game win streak when they were 5-5. KP ran into two great teams to end the season but now know what level they need to play at to take the program a step further next year. - RL |
4. Canton | (10-8-1) | The Bulldogs had a streaky season, winning seven games in a row, dropping five in a row, winning three and then dropping the final three games of the season. Canton will miss 100-goal scorer Jacki Merrigan among others next year. - RL |
5. Mansfield | (9-10-1) | Sophomore Caroline Maher notched her 100th goal of her already impressive lax career, but the Hornets just missed out on a playoff spot. Mansfield will be hoping to make the leap next year to challenge Franklin and KP in the Kelley-Rex. - JP |
