Hock 5 - Boys Soccer (Updated 11/27/13)
Presented by Evolution Sports Performance
Team | Record | News |
---|---|---|
1. Oliver Ames | (14-1-5) | Another great season for the Tigers, going undefeated, winning the Davenport and reaching the Division 2 South finals for the first time in program history. The returning players will have big shoes to fill from this senior class but the talent is there. - RL |
2. Franklin | (13-2-5) | Somehow the Panthers seemed to fly under the radar, despite taking home a Kelley-Rex division title and being mere minutes away from a huge upset of New Bedford in the second round of the playoffs. - JP |
3. Mansfield | (10-5-5) | What a turn around from last year to this season for the Hornets. It was a very memorable season for a very large senior class. The bar has been set high by the class of 2013 and the Hornets will look to put together back-to-back tournament bound seasons. - RL |
4. Attleboro | (3-12-4) | Their final record was altered by the well-documented controversy, but the Bombardiers were among the best passing teams in the league and most people around the Hock believe that Attleboro may be the team to beat next season. - JP |
5. Taunton | (10-8-1) | The Tigers showed a lot of skill at times throughout the season but happened to be matched up with Franklin in their first playoff game. Brad Alconada and Tyler Diniz will certainly be missed next year but the return on Nelson Roias should help ease the transition. - RL |
On The Edge: Canton (9-7-3)
